This car is based on the chassis of BMW's production Sports Activity Vehicle. Undr it's hood is turbodiesel engine, a 3.0-liter, six-cylinder with state-of-the-art common-rail direct fuel injection. However, the vehicle has surprisingly low horsepower, only 184 to be exact. The engine also provides 332 lb-ft. of torque; this speaks well for off-road ability, and top speed is around 125 mph.

The car also has a new form of lighting technology that helps contributes to active safety. The headlights steer with the wheels for effective illumination of curves. In road driving, additional input from the GPS Navigation system actually causes the headlights to anticipate curves ahead. The onboard computer tries to anticipate where the driver is steering the car next

It also comes with a 5-speed automatic transmission and the driver can decide if they want to either drive the car in sports car mode or just take it into joy ride mode. When he or she so desires, the driver can control shifts via "paddles" on the steering wheel.
