superpowered V8 cars like the 3500GT and the
Sebring would follow. Superpowered Maseratis
would continue to be manufactured until 1983,
when the V6 Biturbo was released. The Quad-Cam
V8 SuperChargers were gone and replaced by V6
2 liter 180 HP cars that made economic sense.
As the muscle car generation grew old and the
oil crisis hit the world in the Mid nineteen
seventies Maserati began building family man
cars. Today Maserati continues to build exceptional
quality cars.
