He
had to build the entire car with existing parts
from the GM line. The only original part of
the car was the exterior design envelope. It
is a mid-engine car thought to be too impractical
and inefficient. But the truth is that this
car was well designed and for a price tag of
15 thousand US, at that time you couldn't go
wrong. Eventually the car was taken off the
market in 1988 due to really bad sales. No doubt
due to the engine fire rumors.
