The
new Lotus Elise does not have the same amount of horsepower
that most models in its category have. However, it
is ultra lightweight and has a revolutionary chassis
designed to give the driver a great response. It's
handling is also great in corners due to it's low
height. It's equipped with an in-line, water-cooled,
1.8 litre 16 Valve engine and double overhead camshafts
with hydraulic tappets and electronic fuel injection.
