The
Cadillac Motor Company has a great history. Did you
know that Cadillac was the first production automobile
to use, amongst others, a distributor, power steering,
and a synchromesh transmission. Henry M. Leland, was
the founder of Cadillac. The 1905 "Osceola" which
was built to evaluate the feasibility of a closed
bodied car was the first car manufactured by Leland.
Back then cars were really horseless carraiges and
didn't have have the sophistication of today's cadillac.
