The camaro was first manufactured in August 1967 and this was the creation of the 1st generation model. The first generation was build from 1967-1969 and this car was mainly manufactured or built at the Norwood, Ohio factory near Cincinnati. 700,000 models of this car were manufactured there during those innitial years. The second generation of this car began prodution from 1970-1981. Today's V8 305 horse power camaro is inspired by the Corvette.

One ofthe early camaro sales jingles went like this, "the cheapest thing to a vette, yet" The 80's third generation camaro was the biggest hit. The IROC model is the classic youth car for Italian Americans. In other words, it's the Gino Mobile. Don't think I'm racist, because I am a Gino!!! Nothing compares to the 5.0L Irocs. Today's camaro's are still great and the 1997 thirty year aniversary car was just fantastic. Hopefully this car will exist for generations to come.
